Analysis and Evaluation of Hydroxyxanthones and Derivatives as Potential Inhibitors of HMG-CoA Reductase
Resumen
This study focuses on the synthesis and structural characterization of substituted alkoxyxanthones, along with their in vitro biological evaluation as potential inhibitors of HMG-CoA reductase. A combination of analytical, biochemical, and computational techniques will be used to elucidate their mechanisms of action within the context of metabolic syndrome. The ultimate aim is to identify promising lead compounds for further development as pharmacological therapies.
