Improvement of secondary metabolite production in strawberry plants (Fragaria × ananassa D.) through root uptake of copper nanoparticles in a hydroponic system

Resumen
Nanotechnology in agriculture has recently gained relevance due to certain nanomaterials, such as nanoparticles, which have been reported to have beneficial effects on various aspects of cultivated plants, including the increase in the production of secondary metabolites. The present study aims to evaluate the effect of two types of copper nanoparticles on the production of phenols, flavonoids, and antioxidant activity in strawberry plants grown in a hydroponic system.
